Reviving Tradition. A Community Contribution.
At DJM Consulting, we believe in the power of storytelling to preserve cultural heritage. In partnership with the Chin Woo Athletic Association in Singapore, we supported a pro bono initiative to spotlight the revival of a nearly forgotten art—the Northern Lion Dance.
This effort centres on a 19-year-old boy from a tertiary institution who, despite personal challenges, embraced this endangered tradition. Guided by mentors and his school, he found purpose in learning both the intricate dance and the craft of lion head-making, breathing new life into this cultural legacy.
Through media pitching and interviews with key stakeholders, we helped amplify this inspiring journey, highlighting how community partnerships can safeguard traditions and provide opportunities for the next generation. This project reflects our dedication to using strategic communications for meaningful impact.
